You may have hired bouncy castles in the past but over the last few years things have change

Cambridge Bouncers, our bouncy castles are inspected every year which is in line with the HSE and PIPA standards who rely on the EU to make the rules using EN14960:2013

  1. How do I book? - Find the item you would like to hire and click on details and bookings, then click on CHECK AVAILABILITY/BOOK ONLINE and you can see if item is available and book.
  2. How do I pay? - 50% is payable on booking and balance is to be paid at least 7 days before your booking. For larger jobs you can contact us to book and payment can be made by bacs. OUR DRIVERS WILL NO LONGER EXCEPT CASH. Please note - we do not accept payment by American Express card.
  3. Can we hire overnight? - YES of course you can. In most circumstances this is not a problem, sometimes the item is already hired out the next day and our system will not let you have it overnight there is an overnight charge made at time of booking.
  4. I made a booking a few weeks ago and I need to cancel? - Not a problem please give us as much notice as possible. If you have paid in full we will hold the money for future bookings or a full refund will be given if more than 14 days notice is given; if you cancel within 7 days of the event a 50% booking charge will be applied as we have now lost all income for that item, if you cancel when we arrive to deliver the item then the full fee is payable.
  5. What can I do to help? - First of all make sure you have enough space for the item hired, then make sure it will fit down your side passage or through your gate, dimensions are on the details page for all items, if you are unsure as a refund will not be given if it does not fit!!
  6. I have hired a hall. What now? - Just put the party and hall booking times on the notes section of the booking form. If there is a problem with the timings we will contact you within 48hrs. Make sure the hall know you are booking a bouncy castle, also make sure it fits as any damage or breakages must be paid for by you. We are not responsible for any breakages if you have booked an item that does not fit, you will end up with a bill from us for the hire and possibly a repair and the hall repairs if any.
  7. When will you deliver? - We try and be as economical as possible with time and mileage, this helps us keep our prices competitive. If you have booked a timed delivery we will always be there before that time, if you have booked a free delivery time slot then its possible you may get delivery as early as 7-30am - 12pm so please try and help us and give us as much information as possible on the notes section of the booking form.
  8. When will you pickup the item? - If you have booked an overnight hire then it will usually be in the afternoon of the following day but can be as early as 8am if the item is required on that day or if we are passing. Otherwise it will be from anytime depending on where we are, so if you want it later then please book a specific pickup time so we do not ruin your party.
  9. Its raining? - Under NO circumstances should the inflatable be used if it is wet or raining, it is dangerous and someone could get hurt. If it rains and you have a party then get everyone inside, wait until it stops raining and use an old towel to dry the inflatable before letting anyone else on the item. Do not switch off the inflatable leave it inflated, only power down in a thunderstorm, this will make it easier to dry after it stops raining.
  10. I'm 17. Do i need an adult bouncy castle? - Yes you will. Our children's bouncy castles are suitable from 2 to 14 years of age, anything over 14 will require an adult bouncy castle. This is due to weight and height of the users. If under 2 then a toddler play zone or soft play are ideal.
  11. What power do you need? - Most inflatables require 1 standard household 13A socket, some large inflatable will require 2 sockets. They must be within 20m or 60ft of the intended location of the activity. If power is a problem please call us as you may need either a petrol generator or blower if power is too far or not available at all.

On every installation and collection our team member will check for damage to the bouncy castle. They will also check the electrical cables and inflation fan.

We will not install any inflatable outside on hard standing and Artificial Grass

Indoors - if necessary, we will use sandbags to try and stop it moving.

If you do not hire from us then please make sure your supplier has had their bouncy castles inspected and are fully insured.

Please note the delivery and pickup times are approximate, delivery may be early morning, if you require exact times eg your party is at a venue, please make sure you select a delivery time when booking

Please make sure the access and area is free of litter, rubbish and animal foul. In the summer months we are very busy and it is not our job to clear your garden or access to your garden, Thanks. If it is going to take too long we may have to come back to you later or even cancel the booking.

We will also not put our inflatables on to mud, we need grass or very similar.

On some occasions it is necessary to change the hired item with little or no notice. We do this only in very rare occasions mainly due to very dirty equipment from the last hire or if it has been damaged from the last hire. We do everything we can to make sure you receive a good service and even better inflatable. If this does happen we will always upgrade to a better unit, never downgrade. This is the advantage of having over 200 individual hire items.
